Ingredients

¾ c sugar

  • 2 ¼ c heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • Lemon and lime zest and fresh mint leaves optional

Directions

  1. Heat the cream and sugar in a medium saucepan to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves.

Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

  1. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the lime and lemon juice.

Cool in the pan for ten minutes.

  1. Stir the mixture and then pour it into ramekins or glasses.
  2. Cover and chill until set.
  3. This will also fill a 9 inch tart shell.
