Sausage, Summer, Mom's

Ingredients

  • 4 Pounds Hamburger (80/20)
  • 1 Pound Ground Pork (70/30)
  • 4 Tablespoon Morton Tender Quick Salt
  • 2 Tablespoon Garlic Salt
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoon Mustard Seed
  • 1 Tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoon Liquid Smoke

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients well, wrap in plastic wrap and let sit in refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
  2. Pull from fridge and roll into 2 inch (or so) tubes and place on cookie sheet (foil lined makes easier clean up).
  3. Cook at 200 Degrees F for 5 hours - This can also be done in a smoker for 5 to 6 hours… Yummy!
  4. Cool and slice.
