Ingredients

  • 1/2 gallon Apple Cider (Fresh is best)
  • 750ml EverClear
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1/2 cup Honey

Directions

  1. I was talking with a friend at work today and we got on to the subject of fresh apple cider (it’s cider pressin’ time up here in Michigan right now). Anyway, it brought back the memory of this wonderful drink, so I just had to add it. I will make some this weekend and post a few pictures.
  2. This one is my favorite and I make it with my “homwgrown” honey!!!
  3. This recipe uses everclear which is not available in all states. If it is not available where you live, you can always use another “taste free” alcohol. I would suggest vodka and since it will be mixed with other ingredients, just buy something cheap.
  4. Over medium heat bring Cider, Honey and Cinnamon sticks(keep whole) to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and allow to come to room temperature. Add everclear, place in jar or bottle, will keep forever. WOW this is VERY POTENT….. drink wisely.
