Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup lukewarm (75 – 80 degree F) water
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 3 cups White Bread Flour
- 2 tablespoons Dry Milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 tablespoon Chives
- 1/2 tablespoon Marjoram
- 1/2 tablespoon Thyme
- 1 teaspoon Basil
- 3 teaspoons Yeast
Directions
- Proof your yeast – In a small bowl, mix water, yeast, and a pinch of the sugar. In a few minutes the top will get foamy; this is your yeast working.
- While the yeast is proofing, mix all the other ingredients together. When the yeast has proofed, add it to the mixture and combine.
- Turn dough out on to a floured surface and kneed for 5 minutes or until dough becomes elastic. Rub outside of dough with a little olive oil, put into a large bowl and lightly cover with plastic wrap or a tea towel. Put this in a warm spot and let rise until doubled.
- Punch down dough, roll into small balls (about an inch) and place on a baking sheet. Lightly cover and let rise until doubled.
- Bake in a 325 degree F oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
