Mini Burgers with Special Sauce

Juicy little sliders on soft buns with melty cheese and Rachael’s tangy sour-cream-based special sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef sirloin
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 6 slices American or cheddar cheese, halved
  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls, split
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons pickle relish
  • Thinly sliced onion, pickles, and lettuce, for serving

Directions

  1. Mix the beef with the Worcestershire and steak seasoning and form into 12 small patties.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  3. Top each with a half slice of cheese in the last minute to melt.
  4. Stir together the sour cream, ketchup, mustard, and relish to make the special sauce.
  5. Spread sauce on the buns and build the sliders with the patties, onion, pickles, and lettuce.
