Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding
A no-bake banana pudding layered with Chessmen cookies, fresh bananas, and a rich cream cheese custard.

A no-bake banana pudding layered with Chessmen cookies, fresh bananas, and a rich cream cheese custard.
Ingredients
- 2 bags (about 11 oz each) Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
- 6 to 8 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 box (5 oz) instant French vanilla pudding mix
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 container (12 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed (or 3 cups whipped cream)
Directions
- Line the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish with a single layer of Chessmen cookies, then top with a layer of sliced bananas.
- In a bowl, whisk the milk and pudding mix together and set aside to thicken.
- In a separate large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy.
- Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture, then fold in the prepared pudding until well combined.
- Spread half of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Add another layer of cookies and bananas, then top with the remaining pudding mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate at least a few hours before serving; garnish with extra cookies if desired.
