Extra-rich grits made creamy with cream cheese and sour cream.
Ingredients
- 1 cup grits
- 3 cups water
Salt to taste
- 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
- 1/2 stick butter
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
Directions
Bring the salted water to a boil.
- Add the grits, butter, and cubed cream cheese, stirring frequently.
- Lower the heat and simmer until thick and creamy.
- Stir in the sour cream just before serving.
