Ingredients
- 1 small head green cabbage, finely shredded (about 6 cups)
- 2 large carrots, grated
- 1/4 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, carrots, and red onion.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, Dijon, and celery seed until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss until evenly coated.
- Season with salt and pepper, then refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
