Directions
- Prepare recipe for plain baking powder biscuits using 1 pound (½ No. 56 dipper) granulated sugar and 2 pounds (one No. 56 dipper) shortening and ½ of all other ingredients. Mix, roll, cut, and bake as for plain biscuits. Split and serve with fruit between the halves and on top.
