The Best Guacamole

A fresh, chunky guacamole brightened with lime, cumin, and a hit of cayenne.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe Haas avocados, halved and pitted
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 medium onion, finely diced
- 1/2 jalapeno, seeded and minced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions
- Scoop the avocado flesh into a bowl, add the lime juice, and toss to coat.
- Add the salt, cumin, and cayenne and mash with a fork to a slightly chunky consistency.
- Fold in the onion, jalapeno, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic.
- Let sit at room temperature for about 1 hour so the flavors meld, then serve with chips.
