One of the leanest proteins available, baked with fresh herbs. Dinner on the table in 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika for color

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

Pat tilapia dry. Arrange on pan.

  1. Mix olive oil, garlic, parsley, thyme, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  2. Spoon herb mixture over each fillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Bake 12-15 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Serve with roasted vegetables or salad.

Notes

Tilapia is extremely lean with very high protein. It overcooks quickly — 12 minutes at 400°F is typically enough for average fillets.
