One of the leanest proteins available, baked with fresh herbs. Dinner on the table in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper
- Paprika for color
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
Pat tilapia dry. Arrange on pan.
- Mix olive oil, garlic, parsley, thyme, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Spoon herb mixture over each fillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Bake 12-15 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or salad.
Notes
Tilapia is extremely lean with very high protein. It overcooks quickly — 12 minutes at 400°F is typically enough for average fillets.
