Crispy Poached Eggs

Ingredients
- 5 eggs, one reserved for the egg wash
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 bottle vegetable oil, for frying
Directions
Crack each egg into individual bowls.
- In a small pot of boiling water, add the vinegar and salt.
Carefully pour an egg into the boiling water.
- Boil for 4-5 minutes, or until the egg whites are just set. Take out the egg and set aside. Repeat with the rest of the eggs.
- In a bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add the flour to a separate dish and one beaten egg to another.
- Coat each egg in the flour, then egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Repeat this to double bread the egg.
- Heat about 2 inches of oil in a pot or pan to 350°F. Fry the eggs for 2-3 minutes per side, until crispy.
